Subscription details

After this huge list of new features we want to show you the subscription plans and the terms of use to be applied on Gamesbox v2.

Upgrading to V2 is not required, but doing so you will accept the new terms of use and the new subscription plan.

  • Annual license. ( 12 months after the upgrade from V1 to V2 ) ,
  • Updates and assistance until subscription expiration,

If you do not want to renew your subscription, you accept anyway our terms of use and license related to the subscription plan you have purchased.

If you don't want to upgrade to V2 you will have lifetimes updates and assistance for the V1.

Licenses and prices

The upgrade will be for GAMESBOX and GAMESPORTAL (Gamesbox + Gamespoint), new customers can buy the V2 with one of the following subscription plans:

The new subscription plan will be applied automatically to our existing customers. If you have bought a Developer license for the V1 you can get a Developer license for the V2, same thing for the Standard license.

Conclusions

With this article we want to confirm our transparency and openness to all buyers who have given us confidence and we want to continue doing so. Our clarification is due to past misunderstandings we want to avoid in the future.

We thought a solution that can be good for both sides and we want to say that there is no intention of fraud or speculation, nor greed, but we hope our efforts for a unique component as Gamesbox will be recognized.

scusate ma non mi sono chiari due punti: il primo e il più importante è: se i clienti esistenti che già hanno gamesbox v1 vogliono aggiornare a questa nuova versione, che licenza verrà applicata e in che modo? non riesco a capire se verrà applicata la standard gratuitamente o altro

I possessori di Gamesbox V1 potranno effettuare l'upgrade alla V2 gratuitamente, in caso contrario manterranno l'attuale licenza V1, esaminiamo i casi:

1) Il passaggio alla V2 non vi costerà nulla, ma vi imporrà l'accettazione dei nuovi termini e condizioni del sito. Questo comporta il cambio di licenza con rinnovo annuale, assistenza, e quanto descritto sopra.

2) Il mantenimento della V1 vi garantisce i privilegi degli attuali termini e condizioni a vita, ciò comporta assistenza ed aggiornamenti a tempo indeterminato per la versione V1.

i copyright citati si riferiscono a quelli "visibili", ovvero alla presenza del logo gamesbox in fondo ad ogni pagina del componente. Invece a lato codice non è consentito rimuovere i copyright ( files .xml .php .css ), qualsiasi sottoscrizione comprerete.

Ciao Loris, forse abbiamo scritto in modo confuso l'articolo, ma chi decide di passare a Gamesbox v2 accetta di avere una licenza annuale.

Automaticamente chi con la v1 ha acquistato una licenza Standard, avrà il piano di licenza della Standard in V2 e questo vale anche per gli utenti che hanno acquistato la Developer.

Chi invece mantiene la versione V1 ha sempre diritto ad assistenza ed aggiornamenti lifetime.

Spero di essere stato chiaro.

Ciao Marco, come abbiamo scritto anche nel Forum, non siamo in grado di fornire nessuna data, poichè non vogliamo rilasciare una versione instabile e/o piena di bugs.
Mi rendo conto che molti di voi hanno progetti che fanno affidamento anche su gamesbox, ma sono sicuro che l'attesa sarà giustificata da un ottimo risultato che stiamo man mano raggiungendo con la nuova versione smilies/smiley.gif

Gamesbox v2 non sarà un componente come altri, infatti stiamo studiando un metodo di personalizzazione che vi consenta di creare dei vostri temi partendo da strutture specifiche.

Prima e dopo il lancio di GB v2 avrete la possibilità di testarlo anche in lato Admin, direi una conferma del fatto che la vostra completa soddisfazione è importante per noi.

Concludendo vi chiediamo di attende un altro pò, ma vi aggiorneremo costantemente sui progressi.

Yo opino que cada consola (PC, PS3, XBox360) tiene que tener una nota diferente para cada juego... No es lo mismo la Nota de un Juego para PS3 que para el mismo juego en PC.

Un consiglio, dovreste mettere nella V2 la possibilità di creare liste di articoli multicategoria, per essere più chiari: adesso nella v1 se voglio creare una lista di TUTTE le recensioni, di tutte le console, che ho sul mio sito... non posso farlo, perchè posso selezionare solo 1 console.

Salve io sono molto interessato all'acquito del componente con licenza Lifetime Gamesbox ad € 39.00.
Desideravo avere delle informazioni in merito...ad esempio se il componente fosse compatibile per il mio temlate joomla del mio sito, inoltre chidevo maggiorni delucidazioni circa la durata per l'uso del componente.

Ciao Pietro, se ti riferisci alla versione 1, la durata della licenza è infinita, mentre per la versione 2 sarà annuale. Per ciò che riguarda la compatibilità con altri temi o estensioni non possiamo garantire nulla in quanto non possiamo prevedere conflitti javascript.

Per infinita ( solo per la versione 1 ) si ha la possibilità di ricevere gli aggiornamenti e l'assistenza. Per la versione 2, invece sarà annuale. Scaduta l'iscrizione annuale si continuerà ad usare il progetto senza però poter accedere a futuri aggiornamenti ( bugfix, updates) e senza avere assistenza.

al lato destro dell'editor del nuovo documento ci sono le 4 tab per impostare i dettagli del gioco stessom una di queste è " Media", trovi il bottone sfoglia sotto la dicitura "cover".

Altra cosa, nel nuovo documento come faccio ad inserire file media? in quanto non è visibile alcuna cartella media da selezionare e di conseguenza trovo gli stessi video inseriti per tutti gli altri documenti, "video inseriti mediante le impostazioni media di upload e richiami link video"..

bene contento che tu abbia risolto da solo, come hai fatto? Scrivilo nel forum così da essere utile anche ad altri che hanno il medesimo problema smilies/wink.gif
Per l'inserimento di media devi creare una cartella per ogni gioco, quindi selezione la sezione specifica di gamesbox, fatto ciò zippa in un unico file .zip le immagini che desidere inserire, fatto ciò sarà il sistema che automaticamente estrarrà il contenuto. Per inserire video provenienti da youtube devi invece liccare su videolink e compilare i campi richiesti ( sempre restando nella cartella del gioco che hai precedentemente creato ).

Se hai difficoltà siamo a tua disposizione.

Is you buy our projects ( gamespoint+gamesbox ) you will can download gamesbox v2 for free, but you will accept the new term of use writted in this article. If you payed for stardard you will have stardard license for gamesbox and the same is for developer license.

You don't have to pay again because upgrading from V1 is free for all users. If you want to upgrade to a higher license (ex. form standard to plus or developer) you will have to pay the difference.
